As much as we need people for advice and mentorship as we journey through life, we must also understand the importance of praying for a godly counsellor.
Many people have walked into trouble because of the advice someone gave them.
God is our ultimate guide, yet He also gives us people and often speaks to us through them.
In the end, everything still returns to God. So ask the Lord to give you a guide after His own heart.
The fact that someone is a Pastor does not automatically mean he is godly, and it does not mean he can guide you rightly.
Seek God first, and allow Him to lead you to the right voice for your life.
